Does the crediting of interest rates indexed to a stock-market-index make money markets, bank CDs, annuities and life insurance a risky security investment?

I think not.

It is the underlying safe guarantees, not the interest strategy that separate money markets, bank CDs, annuities and life insurance from risky investments ... but the battle goes on.

The Illinois Secretary of State issued an order on May 24 proclaiming indexed annuities a security. The proclamation is being contested and protested.

A message to the legislators and Regulators: When it comes to indexed annuities show me the risk!
