Colton, CA (October 25, 2011) – As October comes to a close, Partners Advantage Insurance Services, LLC, a national insurance marketing organization, is recognizing 46 insurance professionals who completed business planning and estate planning tracks in the Advanced Insurance Academy. The academy is a six-week, educational program sponsored by Partners Advantage to provide insurance professionals with advanced education to increase their ability to serve advanced client needs.

The business and estate planning markets are often overlooked and underserved because many of today’s agents are not well trained on how to identify and serve the life insurance-related needs of these advanced markets. This shortage of expertise represents a tremendous opportunity for agents who are willing to seek the necessary training and gain the expertise.

“This fall was the inaugural roll-out for this advanced program and we were very pleased with the participation from agents throughout the country,” said Partners Advantage Senior Vice President Bruce Wing. “Because of our overall strong commitment to training, we are able to provide insurance professionals with an educational program on this level.”

Topics covered in the Advanced Insurance Academy curriculum, included: business succession planning, key-person insurance, executive compensation programs, small business pension planning and Section 79 plans. The program focused on providing resources that allow insurance professionals to better understand and serve the needs of business owners and high net worth markets. Top insurance company representatives and the Partners Advantage advanced markets staff provided educational presentations, along with case studies, profiles and support materials.

The agents who completed the curriculum in the designated business planning and estate planning tracks received a certificate of completion, along with added training opportunities. It was provided as a free program delivered live, online each week with review materials, case studies and tests available through a special section of the Partners Advantage agent website.

Starting February 7, a new 12-week Advanced Insurance Academy will be launched by Partners Advantage.
