RME360 Launches LocalMotion
By Amy Teter Romero
Tampa, Fla. – April 17, 2014 – RME360 announces the launch of LocalMotion, a web-based SEO program designed to improve advisors’ local search visibility in their target markets. The program identifies and repairs inconsistent listings of advisors’ company contact information, otherwise known as citations. LocalMotion works to ensure an advisor’s online search results are consistent and visible across more than 150 different local search portals and navigation tools such as Siri and TomTom. This advisor-focused program also includes custom review cards for an advisor’s business as well as instructions for how to obtain and promote reviews hosted on third-party sites, per the SEC’s new IM Guidance Update No. 2014-4.
“Search marketing needs to be an integral part of every company’s marketing plan, no matter its size,” said Amy Romero, SVP of Marketing & Product Solutions for RME360. “In order to create credibility online and within your community, a business needs to have consistent and accurate visibility across search engines, citations and reviews. We created an affordable solution for small businesses to address this growing and critical need.”
RME360’s LocalMotion program begins with a marketing consultation to identify the advisor’s local search goals and pinpoint any search marketing challenges, such as a new office location or company name change. From there, a single consistent search listing is created by RME360, which is optimized for key words and then distributed across more than 150 top local search portals, replacing inaccurate information and capitalizing on missed opportunities. Common navigation software is updated as well so searches for a specific company name result in the correct location and directions.
A diagnostic tool is available on www.RME360.com/diagnostic to help advisors detect any inaccuracies or overlooked opportunities to enhance their local search listings.
“Businesses with a greater number of search listings will rank higher in search engine results compared to those that do nothing,” explained Romero. “LocalMotion helps< create online consistency of company information, and improves the search engine optimization for corporate websites.”
According to the SEC’s IM Guidance Update No. 2014-4 released in March, Guidance on the Testimonial Rule and Social Media, advisors are now permitted to have and share some third-party reviews with their clients, prospects and community. As a result of this update, LocalMotion is consulting advisors on how to obtain, manage and leverage independent online reviews made by consumers. Advisors are provided with custom review cards and a guidebook on how to compliantly and strategically acquire and utilize reviews from sites like Yelp and Google.
LocalMotion is now available for advisors seeking improved local search visibility for their firm online. For more information call RME360 at (888) 383-8770 or visit www.RME360.com.
