Ascensus, the nation's largest independent service provider of retirement and college savings plan administration services, is introducing a new branding initiative to encompass recent acquisitions of Upromise Investments and ExpertPlan.
The new brand and logo include a new tagline, Always Have a Plan, and reflect Ascensus' evolution from retirement plan services provider and recordkeeper to a more diverse company that provides college savings plan services, educational services, compliance, and trust and custodial services.
At the end of 2013, Ascensus entered the 529 college savings plan
market with the acquisition of Upromise Investments, Inc. and its affiliates. In 2012, it expanded its retirement plan presence with ExpertPlan.
“Our revitalized brand has a more contemporary and sophisticated appearance. We retained elements from our previous look and feel because we wanted to pay tribute to those aspects of our company culture that continue to define who we are and how we do business—such as our unwavering focus on high-quality service and the company’s core values of People Matter. Quality First. Integrity Always,” said Neil Smith, executive vice president of strategic business support services at Ascensus. “Our aim is to continue to build upon the strong reputation we have today, while also positioning us to keep evolving and achieve greater things tomorrow.”
Ascensus will continue a phased roll out of its new brand in 2014 with updates to marketing materials, websites and corporate communications.
