Creating clearly written goals is a key characteristic of personal performance. Limiting your field of attention is not scaling back your activity; it’s focusing your resources on your core competencies. It’s necessary to obtain direct feedback from your study group or clients to understand how you’re viewed by others.
Be honest with yourself. Does your knowledge match the client’s planning challenges? And if not, do you know where to go and to whom to turn for assistance? Is your work intrinsically rewarding? Do you have real satisfaction in your arena of expertise?
You can’t expect to produce more without knowing the answers to these questions or buying into the activity of proven producers. Steve and Dr. Jack discuss entering into the sales production zone.
