Maybe it's time to tell clients that the intentionally defective grantor trust we were suggesting may not be around for long. As if the administration's scrutiny weren't bad enough, Mitt's use of this tool (together with a highly aggressive valuation of the shares he put into the trust) may attract even more Congressional attention — but probably not until after Romney loses.
