American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance

Significant changes impacting the Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap) market will be the focus of the Fourth Medicare Supplement Insurance Forum, the national conference for insurance and financial professionals who market, sell, administer or support Medicare Supplement insurance.

The conference takes place October 11-13, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency, Scottsdale, Arizona.

This will be the first opportunity to evaluate the launch of new Med Supp plans M and N, as well as evaluate the impact of health care reform, as changes to Medicare Advantage (MA) are creating major sales opportunities for Medigap plans.

The conference, the only national event exclusively focused on Medicare Supplement Insurance, includes 25 sessions with tracks on pricing, administration, regulatory as well as marketing and sales. Two special sections will focus on marketing to emerging markets, especially aging Hispanic baby boomers, as well as the use of call centers and Internet marketing to sell Medicare Supplement coverage.
