LIMRA and LOMA Win APEX Awards for Publication Excellence

Windsor, Conn., Aug. 8, 2013 — Both LIMRA and LOMA won 2013 APEX Awards for Publication Excellence for magazines each company produces.
LIMRA’s MarketFacts Quarterly won in the Magazine and Journal Writing category for its Number 1, 2013 issue. Editor-in-Chief Wendy Weston said of the recognition, “We are honored to receive this recognition. LOMA’s Resource magazine, published monthly, won in the Science and Technology Writing category for the article, “Unlocking the Power of Technology,” written by Tammy Appel, Resource senior editor. The article was based on in-depth interviews with five top insurance company CIOs who discussed the challenges and top priorities facing the industry.
