Name: Matt McCann
Biography: Matt McCann is a Long Term Care Specialist specializing in Long Term Care, Critical Care and Asset Protection Planning.
He has extensive experience in the industry has a top producer and sales manager. He was Senior Vice President at LTC Financial Partners, LLC (LTCFP) where he was responsible for sales, service, and educational outreach for the Eastern half of the country, supporting the efforts of regional sales managers, local agents, and solution specialists.
Prior to joining LTCFP he spent 15 years at ACSIA Long Term Care as a top producer and sales leader. Most recently he was the Director of Business Development for ACSIA where he lead the largest division at ACSIA which produced over $8 million in LTCi premium in 2012 and 2013. Matt joined ACSIA in the fall of 1998 when he started his career in the Long Term Care industry. He quickly became a top producer submitting well over $2 million in premium during his nine years in the field with a book of business now worth about $1.85 million.
In April of 2008 he was promoted to the management team at ACSIA as Regional Sales Director, Divisional Sales Leader and then Director of Business Development. He has mentored many agents over the years and has developed selling techniques and sales strategies that have been adopted on a national basis by ACSIA & LTC Global. His division also lead ACSIA with the most production from webinar sales where agents use screen sharing technology and sales methods allowing them to help prospects without ever meeting them in person.
Before entering the Long Term Care insurance industry, Matt was a program director and radio personality at top radio stations across the United States including major markets like Chicago and San Antonio. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Radio-TV from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale and is currently studying for his Masters of Business Administration from Benedictine University.
