Type A personalities are driven by emotions and can inadvertently short-circuit their success. While it can be true that your strengths could also be your weaknesses, it is untrue that functioning in the workplace is the same as functioning at home. A major trait is “hurry" sickness, where everything is scheduled and prompt attention to timeliness is a virtue extolled, but never met by others.

Rapid speaking without pausing to fill the conversation can be intimidating, often sending the message that the opinions of others don’t matter. The personal restlessness and impatience with others can be counterproductive towards achieving goals and running relationships. These personalities might also finish the sentences of others.
