Like the studs in the wall of a house, core beliefs aren’t always apparent, but everything else actually rests upon them. If you feel incompetent, like a failure, for example, you may not be consciously aware of the beliefs creating these feelings.
But most of what you think and feel will be a direct consequence of beliefs whose hidden influence touches every quadrant of your life. Steve and Dr. Jack do some couch time therapy with you and help you identify the issue of irrational beliefs.
