Actuaries tell us we're all living longer, but women are living longer than men. The widowhood years are ever increasing as men die according to the mortality tables, but women prefer to live past their projected mortality. The next generation of women will be the health- and diet-conscientious baby boomer. Turning 90 will no longer be an anomaly. It will be a fact of life.
