Obama points finger at insurance companies
Speaking once more on health care reform, President Barack Obama today called out U.S. health insurance companies for raising insurance premiums and denying coverage to those in need.

Democrats and the Administration are encouraging the passage of the health care overhaul in an effort to cut costs, regulate insurers and expand coverage to tens of millions of Americans.

According to Obama, "Every year, insurance companies deny more people coverage because they have a pre-existing condition. Every year, they drop more people's coverage when they're sick and need it most. Every year, they raise premiums higher and higher."
