Employees of tax-exempt organizations in higher education, health care, and other not-for-profit industries are looking for increased guidance in 403(b), 457 and 401(a) retirement plans.

A survey by Fidelity Investments finds that the number of participants seeking one-on-one guidance either in person or over the phone rose 12 percent in the first five months of 2010.

And of this group, nearly 60 percent were looking for guidance on determining the right asset mix for their retirement account.
