Glassdoor reveals top companies for work-life balance

Even in this economic climate, many employees are investing in their employees’ healthy, balanced lifestyles, and in light of this, Glassdoor, a social jobs and career community, is announcing its Top 25 Companies for Work-life Balance.

Companies named in this list are recognized for providing the optimal balance between work and personal life, and this list is compiled from feedback from employees within the past year. Respondents eported how satisfied they are with their employer overall, how well they feel their CEO is leading the company and their contentment with workplace attributes, such as career opportunities, compensation, benefits, culture, values and work-life balance.

Based on a five-point scale, the top 25 companies include:

MITRE employees not the great importance the company places on work-life balance through flexible schedules, generous paid time off, and an on-site cafeteria and gym. North Highland employees say they are pleased with the company’s family-friendly work environment.
