The drop dead date for impaired risk cases with complete files is December 10th for 2012 placement. That’s not to say that cases submitted after the 10th won’t receive end-of-the-year underwriting, but carrier focus will be on placing the cases that will actually pay on this side of the year. With guaranteed universal life being the priority, spurred on by AG38, it’s going to be frantic with the carriers who play best in the substandard season of impaired risk.

Steve and Jessica walk you through the issues and GUL spreadsheets for last-second submissions while the iron is hot.
